Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address (and your name, if provided) in order to send you information about our products, offers and news by email. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 174 TKG 2021 or § 7 UWG, as applicable). We may ask you to confirm your subscription via a confirmation link in an email. Subscription and dispatch take place via our shop system Shopify or an email service provider engaged by us, which acts as our processor in this respect. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in every email or by email to office@2mountain-development.com; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected. We store your data until you withdraw your consent; to prove consent and unsubscription, we may retain this information beyond that for the duration of possible claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Participation in the newsletter is voluntary and not required for purchases.

Joint controllership for the Meta Pixel

If you consent to marketing cookies via the cookie banner, we use the Meta Pixel including the Conversions function (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). In doing so, data about your activities in our shop (for example products viewed, cart, purchase), your IP address and browser or device identifiers are transmitted to Meta. We are jointly responsible with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for the collection and transmission of this data to Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). Meta is solely responsible for any further processing after transmission. An arrangement on joint controllership applies between us and Meta (Controller Addendum); under it, Meta is responsible for providing you with the information under Art. 13 GDPR on processing by Meta and your data subject rights. For more information, please see Meta's Privacy Policy. You can exercise your data subject rights against us or against Meta. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); without your consent the Meta Pixel is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Sales via the Amazon marketplace

We also offer our products via the Amazon marketplace. We connect order processing with our shop system Shopify using the "Marketplace Connect" application. If you order from us via Amazon, we receive from Amazon the data required for processing (name, delivery and billing address, items ordered, order number, and where applicable email address or Amazon contact address) and process it in our shop system in order to perform the contract, ship the order, issue invoices and comply with statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Amazon itself is responsible for the processing of your data by Amazon when you use Amazon; Amazon's privacy notice applies in this respect. We do not use data from Amazon orders for advertising beyond the processing of your order unless you have expressly consented.
