GOOTER Ecad SeatStand 3.0 takes you around the whole golf course seated or standing in comfort – seat included and the golf bag right in front of you. The electric 4-wheel golf scooter folds for transport and can be separated into two sections.

Standing and sitting in turn – this is how flexibly the Ecad SeatStand 3.0 travels the round.

Sitting, standing and the bag at the front

On longer stretches between holes you ride comfortably on the seat; on short distances you stand on the footboards.

The golf bag is not hung on the side: its lower part stands fully on the front carrier plate and is strapped to the frame. According to the manual, the chassis and suspension are designed for a loaded bag at the front, so ride with the bag whenever possible.

Chassis, drive and battery

The 10-inch pneumatic tyres are intended for fairways, firm golf paths, well-kept turf and moderate climbs and descents. Avoid mud, deep sand and water.

A soft start meters out the torque over the first 2–3 metres. You accelerate with the thumb lever and choose with the mode buttons between E (approx. 6 km/h, slow and controlled), D (approx. 12 km/h, normal paths) and S (approx. 18 km/h, top level on suitable stretches).

The battery is removable and secured with a key. According to the manual, a typical 18-hole round leaves plenty of reserve; range depends on terrain, load, temperature and riding style.

Controls, brakes and lights

The LCD display shows speed, drive mode, battery level, light and brake indicator as well as total distance (ODO) and trip distance (TRIP). The handlebar carries:

• power switch, thumb accelerator (right), mode buttons + / −, light switch and horn
• forward/reverse button (hold for approx. 2 seconds)
• brake lever and parking-brake button (left)

Braking is provided by the front disc brake, the electronic brake and the parking brake. When you release the accelerator, the drag brake slows the scooter gently, and the left lever brakes harder. The brake light comes on automatically when braking.

Folding, separating and transport

To fold, switch the scooter off, set the parking brake and remove the battery if needed. Take off the golf bag and the seat (the stated transport dimensions apply without seat and without golf bag), release the handlebar lock and fold the handlebar down. For particularly compact transport, separate the scooter into a front and a rear section. When unfolding, make sure all locks engage fully. All dimensions are listed under “Technical data”. Before purchase, measure the opening and the usable interior of your boot and consider how you will load and unload the parts.

The scooter is aimed at golfers who want to cover longer distances seated or standing and carry the bag directly on the vehicle, as well as golf clubs and resorts. It is considerably more compact than a multi-seat golf cart and is used by one person.

Important notes

• Adults only, under 16 only under adult supervision and in line with the golf club's rules. The scooter is designed for one person.
• Not a road vehicle: do not ride on public roads or pavements; no road-traffic approval is warranted. Clarify your golf club's course rules on areas and speed before the first ride.
• Practise the first metres on a flat, open area and adapt your speed to terrain and visibility. Take climbs, descents and laterally inclined surfaces with particular care and never apply full throttle before you are standing securely. At high speed, never brake abruptly; brake early and gently. You must be able to control the scooter and stop safely at all times.
• Activate reverse gear and the parking brake only when stationary, never while riding.
• Range, speed and performance are manufacturer or system specifications and may differ under real operating conditions.
• Please test the scooter carefully and gently in a safe environment after delivery. Use under real conditions, for example on the golf course, may lead to a reduction in value in the event of a return.
