Legal guarantee

At least two years of legal guarantee of conformity for goods sold in the European Union.

What SunBeachy is – and what it is not

SunBeachy is a mobile head, neck and back support for lying on the ground or on a suitable surface. It is not a full-length lounger, not a camping bed and not a chair: the rest of your body still rests on a towel, beach mat or grass. It does not replace a beach umbrella or beach shelter either, because the shade is limited to the head area. In return, it is small and quick to set up.

Where to use it: beach, pool, garden, balcony, camping and on the go when travelling – always on level, stable ground.

Shade and comfort

The sunshade provides shade around the head and face, for example while reading or taking a short nap. Adjust it so that it does not restrict your view, and never look directly into the sun – not even under or beside the shade. SunBeachy is not certified as UV protection and does not replace sunscreen on the skin; for longer stays, please also use sunscreen and a hat.

Setup and use

Unpack SunBeachy, unfold it completely and place it on a level, stable surface (sand, lawn, lounger surface, beach towel).
Set the sunshade and position before use. Keep your fingers away from joints, hinges and adjustment areas.
Move the neck pad into a comfortable position and check that SunBeachy stands securely.
Lean back slowly – do not drop back abruptly.
After use, fold it up while it is not under load, and carry it by the carrying strap.

Care

Shake off sand and loose dirt or remove it with a soft brush; if needed, clean with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaners, solvents, bleach or abrasive agents.
Let it dry completely before storing, especially after moisture, salty air or wet ground. Store it dry, clean and well ventilated.
Try to keep sunscreen and oil off the cover.
Do not leave it outdoors permanently.

Does SunBeachy fit into my bag or travel luggage?

Folded, SunBeachy is approx. 8 cm high and weighs approx. 1.8 kg (without pillow). Measure the opening of your bag first and compare it with the transport dimensions (folded).

Does SunBeachy protect against UV radiation?

The sunshade provides shade around the head and face and reduces direct sunlight there. No UV protection class is stated, so it does not provide complete sun protection. Please also use sunscreen, a hat and suitable clothing.

Important notes

Use only on level, stable ground – not on raised surfaces and not in water. Do not leave it unattended while open in strong wind.
Risk of pinching: keep fingers away when folding and unfolding and when adjusting joints and folding areas. Do not adjust the position under load and do not force it shut.
Do not use as a chair, ladder, step aid or toy, and do not use it in water. Children only under supervision.
Check the frame, fabric, padding and joints before every use; do not keep using it if it is visibly damaged or has loose parts. Keep away from open flames, grills, heaters and hot surfaces.
Please test the product carefully and gently after receipt. Use under real conditions (e.g. sand, moisture) may lead to a reduction in value if you return it.
