Golf cart alternative: GOOTER electric trolleys instead of heavy carts
Classic golf carts are expensive, bulky and not allowed on every course. A modern golf cart alternative gives you the mobility of a cart — compact, foldable, battery-powered and without high purchase or rental costs.
The GOOTER models range from the E-CadPro stand-up trolley to the E-CadCruiser Pro with seat — a cart alternative that you own yourself. In addition there is the Ecad SeatStand 3.0, a 4-wheel scooter with seat included for seated or standing rides.
Why a golf cart alternative?
1. Carts are restricted on many golf courses
On many Austrian and German courses, carts are only permitted for players with a medical indication or outside peak hours. Electric golf trolleys, by contrast, are permitted on many courses. Use depends on the respective course rules; in stand-up mode it may be restricted depending on the facility — check with your club beforehand.
2. Acquisition costs
A new golf cart costs 8.000 to 20.000 EUR. GOOTER models range from 899 EUR (E-CadOne) to 3.599 EUR (BalancePro, on request) — significantly cheaper, and you own your unit instead of renting it.
3. Transport
The cart stays at the club. The GOOTER is foldable and you take it with you on every round. Folded, the E-CadCruiser Pro measures approx. 42 × 58 × 76 cm (without seat cushion), the E-CadPro approx. 105 × 54.3 × 39 cm (without battery). Measure your car boot opening beforehand and mind the loading weight: E-CadCruiser Pro approx. 46 kg with battery and seat, E-CadPro approx. 28 kg without battery or approx. 33 kg with battery. 4. Maintenance
Carts require workshop servicing. Spare parts are available, and service and repairs are coordinated through GOOTER.

Stand-up electric trolley
You ride standing up like on an e-scooter — up to 25 km/h, up to approx. 60 km range, umbrella included. Our pick: GOOTER E-CadPro.
Foldable seated cart
Full cart experience with a seat, yet more compact and foldable. For players who definitely want to ride seated: GOOTER E-CadCruiser Pro (front basket included) or Ecad SeatStand 3.0 (seat included, seated or standing).

Which golf cart alternative is best for seniors?
For older players or those with physical limitations we recommend the E-CadCruiser Pro with seat. Full cart comfort, but foldable (approx. 42 × 58 × 76 cm folded, without seat cushion). The Ecad SeatStand 3.0 with seat included is another option. For active seniors without a seat requirement: E-CadPro Stand-Up.

Is an electric trolley really a full cart alternative?
For many players, yes — you transport your bag, get up the hills, do not need a cart parking space and save money. Only if you play 36 holes daily with full seated comfort would a real cart be superior.
What does a good golf cart alternative cost?
Entry from 899 EUR (GOOTER E-CadOne), seated models from 2.199 EUR (E-CadCruiser Pro) and 2.999 EUR (Ecad SeatStand 3.0). Several thousand euros in savings compared to a new cart.
